Thursday 22nd - Umfolozi Game Reserve Bush Hike then South Africa v England Friendly Football International
Friday 23rd - Day at Leisure (at last)
Saturday 24th - Leave for Ladysmith - Football match in afternoon - Evening at Inkosana Lodge in the Drakensburg

Initial thoughts are 'God, it's gonna be hectic', but who cares at least I'm not at work and I'll be busy doing something I really enjoy. The Battlefield tours look pretty interesting and the night in the Game Reserve should be pretty cool.

Hello World!!!

Off on my pre-world tour on the 15th May 2003 for 2 weeks to Durban.

Plans for the full world tour are still in there infancy, but are just beginning to take some shape. Today I've told my work that it is my intention to take a year off from September 2003, so we'll wait and see what they come back with.

Bloo Buoy Explained!

What can I say. It was a drunken weekend, seemed like a good idea at the time and the name stuck!

No, I'm not proud of this photo, but I obviously can't deny that it happened! In my defence I wasn't the only one (lame excuse I know)

The idea of this blog is to for me to record details of my Round the World Trip in order to help my memory. It's open for everyone to read and hopefully it will be interesting enough. If it's not interesting to you I have warned you.
